On December 23, the awarding ceremony of Chengdu Xinjin County Lightning Safety Standardization Construction Demonstration Unit was held in Sichuan Lujia Stone Technology Development Co., Ltd., which became the first local lightning safety standardization construction demonstration unit.
Inflammable and explosive places and hazardous chemical companies are the key parts of the lightning protection safety supervision. Once a lightning strike occurs, it is prone to severe lightning strike accidents. Strengthening the lightning protection and safety management of flammable and explosive places and hazardous chemical companies can effectively reduce the occurrence of safety accidents directly caused or induced by lightning. Strengthening the comprehensive management of lightning protection safety for flammable and explosive places and hazardous chemical companies can enhance the essential efficiency of lightning protection and disaster mitigation safety and provide effective support for comprehensive management of lightning protection safety.
It is reported that there are 10 hazardous chemical manufacturers, 31 users, 2 storage companies, 42 gas stations and 2 dangerous goods transport companies in Xinjin County. In recent years, lightning disasters have occurred frequently in Xinjin County. In order to speed up the lightning protection safety supervision of hazardous enterprises and flammable and explosive places in the county, the Xinjin County Meteorological Bureau, County Emergency Management Bureau and enterprises have collaborated with various parties to actively implement lightning protection safety. Standardize the construction work of demonstration units, and jointly awarded Sichuan Lujia Stone Technology Development Co., Ltd. the title of "lightning safety and five standardized construction demonstration units" as a guide to accelerate the promotion of lightning protection for hazardous enterprises and flammable and explosive places. Safety and standardization construction, build a fast response, accurate positioning, and implement a strong standardized management system for lightning protection, improve the comprehensive defense capabilities of lightning protection, and avoid or reduce the occurrence of lightning disasters.
